Thank you for your interest in joining the Escort Carrier Sailors & Airmen Association. We’d love to have you join the ranks of ECSAA members, more than 1000 strong. The core of the ECSAA Membership, from across >90 ships, are sailors, airmen and marines who were attached to Escort Carrier-related duty during WWII and Korea. And now, the most rapidly growing segment of our membership are the sons, daughters, grandkids of those heroes as well as other supporters who wish to help keep the memory alive for generations to come.
Regular Membership in ECSAA is afforded to anyone who served aboard or was transported aboard any Escort Carrier, or aboard any ship operating in the company of an Escort Carrier performing escort duty, air support, anti-submarine warfare, surface engagements, Military Sea Transport, Military Sealift or worked at a shipyard building Escort Carriers, or similar actions while in company with an Escort Carrier, regardless of category code.
Your membership supports:
Placement of plaques and memorials in museums across the country
Construction of scale models of Escort Carriers and key battles in history for interactive exhibits on permanent display in various museums
The CVE Piper publication, an incredibly popular ongoing newspaper format publication that dives into different historical topics each issue as well as carries up to date news of shipmates and reunion events.
A strong annual Convention that rotates geographically to make travel easier from differing parts of the country.
Your membership includes a mailed copy of every new CVE Piper published, access to MembersONLY sections of the website containing Membership Rosters and Archive material, as well as a discounts on ECSAA Products and the annual ECSAA Convention.
Whether its an annual or multi-year membership that you choose, we would be delighted to welcome more members who served as a part of the Escort Carrier era, are descendants or other supporters of preservation of this chapter of history for generations to come.
